Hello,
As I make flipcharts I tend to use a variety of fonts for various topics/subjects. The problem I'm running into is that when I share my flipcharts with colleagues, they don't always have the font that I used in my flipchart and it comes out looking a bit distorted. Is there a way to lock a font onto a flipchart that will transfer to any computer? Thanks!

You could use the Camera Tool to 'snapshot' the text - the image of the text will show your chosen font, although the text can't be edited.

You can't really 'lock' a font onto a flipchart :(
You'd have to transfer the font to their PC or, as Westlake said, take a snapshot of the text.

If your colleagues' computers don't have the same fonts installed then they won't be supported in any file thats transferred from another computer. So either their fonts need upgrading or use common fonts like Arial and Comic Sans. Century Gothic is another good clear one.

This is a common problem. Activstudio does not embed fonts, (possibly due to copyright/licensing restrictions). Thus if you are creating flipcharts for others to share, it would be sensible to use standard system fonts such as Arial, Verdana, Times New Roman etc.
This is very important if you are posting flipcharts on Promethean Planet

Thanks everybody. Your answers are pretty much what I thought, but I didn't think of taking a snapshot of the words! Thanks!
