Can you drag objects from the resource library into the desktop overlay in the Mac version? You can do this on the PC. When I choose desktop overlay I no longer see my resource library.

Also, what is the difference between desktop overlay and desktop flipchart? The Mac gives me these two options. I think...

desktop overlay - puts a clear overlay over the application I'm currently using.

desktop flipchart - takes a picture of the current application I'm using and puts it into a flip page.

Is this correct?

Thanks! :)

Hi Shawna

If you open the resource library before you enter Desktop overlay mode the resource library will remain on screen but you will not be able to drag images out from it onto other applications unless they are compatible with .as2 files. And dragging things from the resource library onto the desktop in desktop overlay mode just creates a copy of the file on your desktop!

You are right with the difference between Desktop overlay and Desktop flipchart in that Desktop flipchart is a screenshot of the desktop in a flipchart page and you can use the resource library as normal.

Is there anything specific you were trying to do in Desktop overlay mode?
