Resource DVD

I am about to install the new Resource DVD that was ordered on a teachers computer, and the school said that you have to "delete this, and delete that and things like that, is there anything like that I should be aware of.

As far as I am aware, the new resouces install and overwrite the other ones. I don't think that the "my resources" are affected though.

Why does it over write them....just something that happens?

Otherwise you would have a big jumbled mess of a mix of old resources and new resources. I am assuming you are working with the US ones. I am not familiar with other one. It automatically de-installs the original ones and then writes the new ones.

Does it de-install the resources that I have added as well?

I would assume it would overwrite everything in the Shared Resources section. I normally only add resources to "My resources." If anyone thinks otherwise, please chime in.
