Transparent images

I am using ActivStudio2 for Mac, and cannot get transparency to work properly -

I have dragged a gif (with transparency) from Finder into the library and onto the flip chart, copied and pasted directly from photoshop with transparency areas.

When it transparency "works", it turns all of the true black in the image to transparent (even though there is no black pixel in the bottom right corner - in fact, there is only white pixels in all corners)

If it is a user error, I would really like to know as it is getting a little frustrating!

Hi Ben

In Activstudio 2 if you double click the image to get the object edit toolbox then click on the properties icon, select appearance, make sure the Transparent box and the Pick Through box are checked then if you click on the color box next to the Pick Through box you can chose which color in your picture will appear transparent.

Its a bit long winded, I know but I hope this work around solves your problem.
