Annotations appear on PC monitor but not on board

Using latest release Activstudio 2.5.82

running Activstudio and using PowerPoint presentation in slide show view

attempt to use the Activstudio pen tool (select desired color and pen width) write on Promethean board

annotations are visible on PC monitor but not on the Promethean board

Short-term fix: right click on ppt page and choose: pointer options-> pen.
