I have a flipchart in which I want to put the count-up timer over some words with the time set to 0:00. I then drag the timer out of the way and start it.
I am having trouble getting the timer to start at 0:00. I click on [OK] in the timer dialog box, but by the time the timer appears and I can click on the pause button (so I can move and re-size the timer), usually a few seconds have passed. So I am often starting at 0:02 rather than 0:00.
It would be MUCH nicer of there was a [play] button on the count-up timer so I could re-position and re-size the timer and give the students a last reminder before starting the timer.
Is there a workaround for this?
BTW, the problem is solveable for the count-down timer by setting the time to say 1:10 seconds and letting it count down to 1:00 before pausing it.
