White-Out

While using the pen tool on a flipchart page that already has text boxes on it, the text boxes white out. This happens repeatedly while connected to the board and while disconnected. I have used activstudio before on a different laptop at a different school and never had the problem. Any suggestions???

This has happened to me also. Very strange. I then flip back a page and then flip forward to make it un-white-out. But it'd be nice for it to not happen at all.

I've had exactly the same problem - and also learnt that the way to fix it is to turn a page, then turn back again! At least there's a way around the glitch...

I have had the same thing happen on a PC and have a solution. It might be worth trying on your MAC.
On a PC: Main menu > Studio settings > Flipchart objects > High quality . . . . uncheck lines and shapes.
On a MAC, I presume that this option is avaialble through Menu > Preferences . . .

I'm having the same problem, as are several other people at my school. Is there a tech support person monitoring this thread, and if so, is there a solution?

I have had the same issue on both MAC and PC - I have tried the fix suggested by RGarden for PC (thanks!:) ) but there is no 'lines and shapes' under preferences for MAC. I have changed one of the preferences and will let you know if it makes a difference!!:(

Promethean's Technical Support is aware of this problem and they are working diligently to resove the issue. Hang in there...I have faith they will find a remedy!
