View Full Version : Wanted to share!
For some reason, I got really excited by the attached flipchart. Have just submitted it to the resource area, but wanted someone to share it with now! Notes on each page for use/creation ideas - I think it was just the fact that the monster is so cute, I just couldn't stop!

PS Although file name is ratio, actually only focused on proportion this time. Maybe there'll be more later in the week! Oh, and aimed at Y5. +wave+
I am glad someone else gets as excited as me when they make a super flipchart! I have had a look at it Lara - it looks wicked and those monsters are cute!
It was a bit above me - I teach Reception - but if I ever move to Yr 5 I will use it. [clap]

Thanks, Lou. :) Just use the monsters - what more could any teacher ask for?!
I have made monsters with them before when we were looking at sorting at the beginning of the year. They love everything on AP - everything gets an ohhh or ahhh with them - bless!
Their favourite game at the mo is to pretend they are the teacher using the blind tool to build the anticipation - they use some super sound effects too!
It's a beauty, Lara, well done. I'll pass it on to the Y5 teacher. Only sorry I can't use it myself.
What I find great is that, after two years of boards and at an age where they're all trying to be cool, the children are still excited by things. We've been rubbing out our WALT (one child comes up and rubs out a bit at a time while the others deduce what the objective will be) all year and they're still hooked! All I need to do is create something different to hide it behind every couple of months!

Hi Lara
Great flipchart, I love the clouds using the fills and also the statistics page...
Quick question... any reason why you have painted over the 'no hardware detected' message, as this doesn't appear when you're plugged into the board?
Kind regards
David

I wasn't aware that I had as I created the flp when attached to the board - the pages do have a background though - would that get rid of the watermark?

Just lovely {} - I'm sure you know about Furbles, Lara, but other might not - it links in beautifully with your flipcharts.

They were my inspiration! But yes, definitely worth flagging them up. Thanks.
