Hi guys

I have seen great flipcharts with buttons on them that you press with your pen and they reveal answers and so on.

Is this really difficult?!!

It could be linking to other pages or pressing an answer button and then the answer appearing...can IWBs do that?

This is where the object has been given an action
If you double click on the object & go into object properties & choose actions you'll see a choice of actions that can be set on that object.
In Primary & PE there is a limited set of actions you can set. In DE there are lots & lots of extra actions.

However, in the resources there are some objects with preset actions in the shared collections area. (in studio resources)

You'd be best making a button to link to another page containing the answer. The other way to do it (click and answer appears on same page) requires another piece of software which is currently in development (Developer Edition). So, yeah, link to another page :D

Ange I know exactly what you mean.

You need to double click on a coloured circle you create on the page, click red tick box and then choose actions so that the button links to opening page 2 or wherever. You can then also create an arrow or something that takes you back to the original game board page.

It is very straightforward to do.

Dave, is Developer edition not avaliable yet? I only just read about it and it looks great. When will it be available and how much does it cost?

Noooope, not out yet! Sorry but can't give you any details at the moment - am not sure myself :(
