text changes size after editing

Does anyone know if the following behaviour is normal:

Choose text tool
Write text in chosen font size
finish writing, say switch to select tool
text goes smaller (still same nominal font size but smaller on flipchart)

get this often on class board
trying to replicate this behaviour on my laptop here it doesn't happen!

Hi Stephen. Do your two computers have different screen resolutions?

When you edit text it is not scaled. If the screen resolution doesn't match the flipchart size then what the text size does when you submit it depends on the current scale mode (for instance, having a flipchart bigger than the screen size will make the text go smaller if the scale mode is 'best fit').
