New Pen

Why does a new pen not work on our Yr1 board?
They have broken a pen - i gave them a new one - the cursor follows it round - but it doesn't click or highlight anything - or do anything.
Help! - what am I missing?

I would suggest resetting the board, this ususally helps

Hope this helps.
I had a similar problem and I found that the teacher still had the old, seemingly broken pen (broken in two actually), in the yellow pocket next to the IWB. This stopped the new pen from working because it interfered with the signal. Once I had dumped the old pen and rebooted everything, ithe new one was fine.

On ACTIVprimary, the right click does not work unless you are in design mode. You can only drag and drop, etc...it is called presentation mode. :eek:

Click on Promethean Man, then the secon icon to the left. It will put a red ring around Promethean Man which indicates that you are in design mode and your right click now works.

This is so the younger students, and maybe some teacjers will not get confuces when they accidentally right click. +wave+ +wave+
