flash movie in player

???? Excuse me if this is an obvious question but I wondered if it was possible to make a flash movie play inside a box I have drawn on the flipchart page. At the moment the flash movie (swf) opens in a seperate window. I have ticked the embed movie in flipchart but I cant seem to tick the placeholder box as it is greyed out.

What about creating this by using "Insert Link Object" - i.e. right clicking on the page, Insert Link Object, find the file, then the placeholder should no longer be greyed out and you should be able to click on it. The placeholder is only available when you link to a page, not to an object. Place your video on your page in the desired position and draw your box round it. Would that work for you?

Oliver - just realised this is the MAC version you are using - this works in PC version, not sure about MAC - hope so!!

No joy :mad: I contol clicked which is the mac equivalent but placeholder still greyed out. Is this a known bug

Try putting "placeholder" into the Search feature on the MAC forum. There are quite a number of postings. I hope one might help you.

Activstudio v2.1 for Mac does not support the ability to embed flash movies into the flipchart. This feature will be included in v2.5
