+wave+ Dug reached a milestone last night... He reached Senior Member....
Once people get to Senior Member (50 posts) he and I decided it would be good if there were other levels of membership.....
As he put it.... "Will I only ever be Senior Member?" [clap] [clap]
Part of me feels gently embarassed that I have encouraged him to such exciting aspirations in life.... :D :D BUT I think we should have a bronze, silver and gold....maybe this is one for the iwbnet.com forum....

Venerable Honourable Esteemed Distinguished.... whatever. Welcome to the next level Dug - may the Force be with you.
Seriously though, this needs some discussion - would it just be on the volume of postings or related to the depth of contributions.
Perhaps after Senior Member, based on participation in the Forum, there could be something like 'Forum Advisor' based on raising issues of general interest and providing advice and assistance.
Maybe a loyalty programme with rewards? How about a weekend in Blackburn :p

Can I qualify for the weekend in Blackburn, also? Or do I have to settle for a weekend in Fresno? :D
Also still learning...

Hilary/Mike,
I am worried that you think a weekend in Blackburn a prize   ????
Seeing Promethean's base and factory would be brilliant, almost exciting, but then folks... well .... there is the beautiful countryside known as the Ribble Valley... but you would have to couple this with a trip to London/Lake District/Scotland/York....
Have to say I'd prefer some sort of 'exchange' trip as Fresno sounds pretty good to me.
I may be senior in name but I'm young at heart!

Okay, I'll go to New Zealand, Westlake can go to Blackburn, and Dug can come to Fresno (Madonna is doing two shows there in June). And Promethean Paying the bill! Think of the P.R.! The press would love it. [clap]

OOOH - Yes Please! Maybe we could do a house-swap..
Blackburn sounds OK to me. I hear the folks there are pretty friendly :D
Anyway I have already been to London/Lake District/Scotland/York.... Can't imagine how I missed Blackburn on the way!
Would probably head off to explore Cheshire where some of my ancestors lived, and go on to Litherland to search out some other family connections.

this member just got in from work and the roads around here are fairly rubbish, snowy - it does look very pretty - slippy and not what you need after a long day.....HOWEVER..... I reckon there should be a 'Promethean meet up'.......somewhere.....
We all take our memory pens and natter and swap, what do you reckon?

OK - time out! Let's get back to the topic of this thread...
Believe me Myrtle, I have NEVER met any of the people on this thread - honest! October? I can hardly remember what I was doing last week, let alone October..

As I recall from another thread, Bill spent some time in Blackburn or environs in October but then he works for the company so he wouldn't be eligible. Besides, Louisiana is a bit under the weather here lately. Not sure we could convince anyone to swap with him. :D
