2.5 for Mac?

Any news out there on when ActivPrimary 2.5 will be available for us Mac users? I can't wait to start embedding flash!

We are currently working on Activstudio v2.5 and Activprimary v2.5. Both these releases will be Universal Binary i.e. they will run at full speed on both Mac Intels and older Mac PowerPCs. Obviously we need to make sure that we test thoroughly on both platforms. Activstudio v2.5 is scheduled to be released first, towards the end of Q2 with Activprimary following shortly afterwards in Q3.

Version 3 is out now [clap] but unfortunately it is PC only.

You'll see AP 2.5 MAC before Version 3 comes along, hopefully this will be sometime during the first quarter of 2007. We can't be more specific than that at the moment.

We have decided here that due to the delays we've experienced and the small amount of extra development time required to go straight to an Activprimary Version 3 for MAC, that we will not be releasing an Activprimary 2.5 for MAC.
You can expect a release around the summertime.

What about a patch to make the present version of Activprimary work with the latest Macbooks (with dual intel processor)?

2.5 would've been the patch to make it work on Intel Mac's. :(

Activprimary users with Intel MAC's will have to wait until Version 3 now i'm afraid. But this is a good thing really as we weren't originally going to do a version 3 Activprimary MAC at all. {}
