Huntsville City Schools

Hi folks,

I had a great visit with Huntsville City Schools last week. They are in Huntsville, Alabama, The Space capitol of the world. One of the NASA installations is in Huntsville.

They are just getting started with IWB technology on a large scale basis and are excitied about using them in theor classrooms.

We used the magnifying glass method to make a few different types of reveals and I told them that I would share with everybody.

Hi, :) I am new to the AS so could you explain how you did your flipchart. Is it the rub and reveal? Could you explain?

OK. I know there is a link somewhere but I went ahead and made up a flipchart for doing a map over picture technique that I first saw Peter do.

I love this map idea and appreciate the instructional flipchart. Took only a matter of minutes to do the same thing for our school/town.

I also think this magnifying glass idea is better than the Spotlight (oops is that treason? :o ) because you can annotate alongside the image.
