I have installed AP2 with the latest updates but the new desktop shortcut opens AP1 occassionally. That doesn't make any sense to me! I double-checked I was using the right shortcut and even found and clicked Activprimary2.exe. Are there some config settings left over that are shared? Thanks in advance.

Did you uninstall AP1? I would recommend that you do, now that you the superior AP2 or even 2.5 if you have got there yet.... [clap]

I have done all my 2.5 upgrades :)
However, on my laptop with AP1 deleted, loading AP2 kept installing and asking for the AP1 .msi file - very odd. Put the AP1 CD in, it loaded something, then after that AP2 was fine.
The AP1 install on the other PC was left there at the request of the teacher. Can the old AP1 files be read in OK in AP2?
Thanks

Hi Soupdragon....
Yes anything after AP1 can be opened with AP2. Consider it an upgrade and so AP2 is the dominant/superior version.
Are you saying that your AP1 issue is now solved? +wave+

once I've checked and backed up all the AP1 files somewhere safe, then I'll delete AP1. I think there are some issues loading AP2 with AP1 installed - perhaps someone in support could put their finger on it.
Thanks for your help.
