Writing recognition

Does the Mac version offer writing recognition like the PC software does? If so, what icon is it? I'm trying to use writing recognition with Kidspriation. I know it works on the PC end but not sure how it works on the Mac side. Help!

yes, it uses the Mac OSX's recognition engine called Inkwell.

You have to turn it on first.


1. Make sure the ACTIVboard/ACTIVslate/proACTIV is connected to your Mac and you have the driver installed
2. Make sure Handwriting recognition is turned ON in the Ink section of System Preferences

Afterwards it will start working
