Straight Lines

Hello...some help needed please.

I am trying to do some angles work with my Y6 class. I am using the unit plan (unit 8 Spring term) which says that I use the 'straight line tool' to connect the mark made on the on screen protractor to the end of the line where the base of the protractor sits. I can't seem to work this. Is it a tool that I haven't found / used yet or should I just be drawing a straight line and adjusting it to meet the 2 points.

I'm struggling a bit and could do with some help.

I'm not quite sure if this is what you mean, but try right clicking on the pen on the toolbar. You should then get a new box with a number of straight line options etc.

Hi

The 'straight line tool' is available when you have the pencils in the bottom toolbar. Far over on the bottom right hand side is an extra button which is the tool you want. Click on this and then when you go back to the flipchart you will drawing with this 'dot-to-dot' line. So you will click for first part of line, click where you want the two lines to meet and finally click where you want the second line to end. (Not sure if that makes sense :eek: )

You must remember to turn this tool off else when you go to next handwrite something it will be pretty impossible clwn
