Hello,
I'm trying to build my own fraction wall in AP using the Resource Library (the one that's ready made doesn't do what I want). The borders of all of the individual fractions are the same as their fill colour (apart from the 1/10). This means that when you put the fractions next to each other you can't see their boundaries. Is there any way of changing the border colours please? Thanks

Hi
I expect there's an easier way than what I can come up with but this should work.
It's a bit painstaking but once you've done it you can save it to the resource library to reuse when you wish.
Choose Design Mode before you start. Drag one of the fractions onto the flipchart page, select shapes tools and choose squares and rectangles and choose a thick outline, drag one of the rectangles onto the page (I used the first one) and line up below the fraction, drag it sideways until it is slightly wider than the fraction image (to allow for the outline to show), then move the rectangle beside the fraction and alter it's height in the same way allowing for a slight overlap, you should now have a rectangle fractionally (ha ha) :D larger than your fraction image, double click on the fraction and choose object properties (last icon), then click on appearance and change the layer to 'top', now drag the fraction on top of the outlined rectangle, click and drag (marquee select) around your new image to select it, double click, choose object properties then identification and then click the 'grouped' tab so that a tick appears in it, your fraction on top of it's outlined shape will now be one!
If that doesn't make sense or you need more explanation let me know.
Have attached a flipchart to show the one I did.

Hi Phil,
Is this what you are speaking of?
You can fill each individual box to show equivalents etc...
If you want to add it to your resource library, just drag it over to my collections and name it and it will be saved.....
Good luck...
Did anybody notice the old icon in the flipchart upload icon???
Oh yeah, you can select the properties of the whole object and uncheck it to move them individually.

There you go - a much easier way! - Use one that someone else has prepared! ;)
