ZOOM In not working with desktop on AS 2.5

I noticed that zoom in on a desktop mode does not work in AS 2.5

Is this a bug that will be fixed?

In the previous version, I used to be able to pull up a web page or a document and then apply the Page Zoom tool to zoom in and zoom out.

With AS2.5, on the desktop, I can zoom out but not zoom in.

Anyone have the same issue or am I missing something??

Just ran into this myself and am awaiting more feedback but I think I have found the answer. AS2.5 is set up with the "live" annotate to desktop set as the standard preferences. If you go to the settings and change this to the other choice, I think the zoom works as before but then the desktop is no longer live.

For the rest who have updated, is this what you have found as well?

this is a limitation of zoom on the live desktop
you can zoom into the objects on the live desktop & zoom back out of the objects on the live desktop but won't zoom into the desktop. This is because your desktop is really there & isn't just a picture of the desktop.
Also the double click to restore back to original size won't work on live desktop - you need to use the page scale options


Zoom still works as before on the photo mode.

yes the zoom feature works fine when enabling the photo desktop mode in settings.
