Playing MP4 files in PE2

Can you help at all? Why is it that MP4 and MOV files plays outside of Flipchart? Is this a bug or a setting issue?

If we change the file we have to avi files then we lose lots of the resolution.

Also struggling with the placeholder function- how do you find it? I might be being completly thick but I find the help advice difficult to follow!!

Hi Jenny,
I don't know about mp4 (I'm only up to mp3, but that could be my age!)
I have just been through this process, with a colleague helping me because I had forgotten the steps:
On the flipchart page > Right-click > Insert > Link Object
Browse to find the file (I checked this with a .mov, .mpeg and .avi file – it won’t work for all file types)
Select the file
Select placeholder in the ‘Create Link Object’ menu (see image on the attached document)
Now you will get the Placeholder Definer screen – re-size that and position it on the flipchart page where you want it to appear.
Run the video until you reach the scene you want as the image for the link.
Click OK, and that scene will appear on the page as the link to start the video. The video will open within the Flipchart page.
