When we have had our previous 4 boards installed we have used ELC's to pay for the software component.
I am now informed that Promethean, in their wisdom, have now decided to charge £200 for this privelege.
Personally I find that outrageous.
I like Promethean products - and am a huge advocate of their boards and software to all I meet.
It is nonsense like this, in a competative marketplace, that make people like me wonder if i am right to be advocating your company's products!

Apparently the DfES have made the redeeming of ELCs more complicated which makes it more costly for us to administer. hence the charge. However it is a one off charge per order not per system so if a school buys multiple systems they pay the £200 once only.
