Hi
I am trying to create a Blockbuster Game from the Active Extras section. If I do not have enough time to completely enter in all information to make the game, how can I save the file? I have tried to save it according to the instructions but it tries to make the game and messes up the info that I have already put into the wizard. Also does any one already have blockbuster games to share?
Thanks
Bev

Hi Bev,
Something odd going on here. If you save a half-finished game, yes it will make the game appear but you just quit. If you then go back to the activity wizard, you should be able to click on the (now "existing") blockbusters activity and just resume editing where you left off.
So - it should be possible. Maybe someone from Promethean can tell you if you are using an older version of the software that DOES have problems? Sorry that's not much help.
A work-around is to prepare your stuff on Word and then quickly cut and paste into the ActivityWizard when you have enough time to do just that. That way, you have a spell-check too!
As a matter of interest with the Blockbusters, I found that the game could only be played once (5-10 minutes of lesson time at most) because the second time the layout of letters was identical and the 3 questions for each letter came up in the same order. Is it possible to randomise both of these so that the game can be played several times with the same set of questions? It takes far longer to write the questions than you think and it would be great to get more use out of it.
I presume that this must be possible as I have noticed that the computer seems to select a random letter to start the game with.
