First of all thanks for the new 2.1 update release. So far things run much smoother on Mac OS10.4.5 (yes .5, it was released yesterday).
I did notice a small difference that I am curious about. Before the 2.1 update with the driver, I had 2 quicktime movies which I placed on the AS2.0 pallet. When I clicked on the movie, the quicktime software would launch and play the movies.
After the AS2.1 update, the movies are still on the pallet. When I click on them to launch, they open up in a different viewer. The AS studio remains in the menu as the main software, and indeed it is when I look to see if Quicktime was launched (which has not been launched as before).
I am puzzled as to what is happening here. It almost seems as if AS2.1 has it's own movie player. How come the quicktime software is not being launched? Is there a way to keep the movie on the pallet and have it launched by Quicktime as before?
Also, when it launched from Quicktime, the movie window would launch the same size as I originally saved it. Now I have to double click on the window or the + sign to make it large while the movie is playing.
Thanks again Promethean people for the AS2.1 . Aside from this video issue, it really does run much smoother and the interaction between the many programs I use is incredible.
