Hi there
I know that this question has been asked and answered before but I've spent ages searching for it and can't find it. Therefore would someone be kind enough to remind me how to do this? I know I have to look somewhere in temporary internet files but can't locate them and not sure what I'm looking for?
In case none of this makes sense, I want to save a flash movie which I have viewed on a webpage so that I can embed it into a flipchart. I know Margaret can do it so it can't be that difficult    Sorry Margaret :p
Can anyone please ????

Try
C:\Documents and Settings\<Username>\Local Settings\Temporary Internet Files
replace <Username> with your login name.
In IE6 you can find out the path by using Tools->Internet Options and then clicking on the Settings... button in the Temporary Internet Files box of the General tab.

Hi,
I know this thread is months old, but I couldn't help adding my comment. Copying an embedded flash file is much easier if you use the mozilla firefox browser with a plugin called "download embedded". This plugin, once installed, creates a small icon on the bottom of the browser which you simply click to save the content. It's very easy to use and saves time searching through IE temporary folders.
Get firefox from: http://www.mozilla.com/en-US/firefox/
Get the plugins from: https://addons.mozilla.org/extensions.php

Dug,
You're more than welcome, but in actual fact the de-rigeur tool to use to extract YouTube/Google videos is another extension/plugin called "VideoDownloader." You can also find it at the mozilla extensions site. Try both and see what you think.
Dennis
Its the Video Downloader that I got in the end. Ta.
And while talking about videos - have you seen www.videojug.com (http://www.videojug.com)? Instructional videos on a weird array of topics but some completely suitable for classroom use!
