Problem With Text

I don't know exactly how to explain a text problem I am having. At times, when I have a text box open, my cursor is in the wrong spot as I type. For example, the cursor is behind a letter typed and then the next typed letter appears to have skipped over the previous individual letter that I typed. Sometimes my words stretch and then condense as I type.
Is anyone having this problem? :(

These problems should be fixed in the next release of ACTIVstudio Mac v2.1 PE. We will be putting a web update (from v2.0 to v2.1) very soon.

I did download the update and driver, and the problem with the text happened again. It does not happen with every text entry, but, it is still an issue.
