Smiley / Alien animation not working

Please note my smiley and alien animations (from the resource browser) are not working. They simply "sit" on the page, instead of "bouncing" around to do "what they do". I imported the subjects resources again, but that has no effect. What should I do?{}

Are you using Activstudio or ActivInspire?

I think these came from the ActivInspire resource library and that they are gif files. Not sure if/how Activstudio handles .gif files.

Are you in Design Mode? Red Snowflake in top menu? That may make automatic start up items like gifs not play. Just an idea.

My problem with the animations is that once I put them on the page I can't always get them off the page. Some of them you can't select and delete, even in design mode. :eek: I just discovered how to get them off the page. I was putting a flipchart together to attach and tried something.

Once the animation is on the page, click design mode, go to another page and then back and then you can select the animation and resize, move it or delete it if you want.

Maybe this post will help someone else. :D

I think blue means you are NOT in design mode. But both red and blue say design mode.

Anyway, do you want to see if OTHER animations work?

I installed the number animation and it works.[clap]
What do you think is wrong with the smiley and alien animations? I don't understand.
