Do I need an Activhub?

We are thinking of purchasing some Activotes, but I wanted to know if we also have to purchase an Activhub in order for the votes to work. How does this work? Help! :)

You definitely need an Activhub for them to work. Not sure if the Activotes come with it or not. I'd ask your reseller.

Hmm, reseller lady seemed to think that only the Expressions needed a hub, not the votes. I definitely don't want to order something that isn't necessary.

You need a hub. Unless, of course, you don't want them to work. Are you buying an entire kit of 32 with case and hub? Then you do not need an additional hub.

The only votes that don't need a hub are the older ones that are registered to the board. When I first got my board 4 years ago, I had votes that registered to the board and did not come with a hub. All the newer votes do not register to the newer boards, they register to hubs. And you can't use the older votes with the new boards - the new boards do not have capability to have votes registered to them.
