I have just changed schools and now I have to work with Promethean activeboards while at my old school I was used to Smartboards. I just installed the software Activestudion on my computer at home and thought this was the same as the notebook software for the smartboards. I can't open the files. How can I manage to prepare my lessons at home wihtout having an active board ?
I need a hint on how to get started....

You should download ActivInspire which is the replacement of Activstudio. If you already have Activstudio, you should already have a serial number which would allow you to have the Professional Version of ActivInspire for free.

ActivInspire can import Smart Notebook files.

studio can also import notebooks - just go to file/flipchart/open from & browse to a folder that contains your notebooks & you will be able to open them from there.
