Mysteriously Changing Backgrounds

I placed a Shared Resource Colored Background on a page. Sometimes when switching to this page the background will be gone or it may show up on another page. I can sometimes go forward and back in the flipchart and the background may be correct (or not). There is no apparent pattern to this problem. It has happened with custom backgrounds that I have made as well. Any suggestions on fixing this mystery???

The very "tasty" PC flavor with the Windows XP topping.

Hmm. Does it just happen with specific backgrounds? What about some of the new illustration backgrounds? (Just trying to see if it is the software or the background.) I haven't had that happen to me (Mac.)

Not something that I have heard of before - Is it just custom backgrounds that this happens with?

Do you have a flipchart that exhibits these symptoms permanently, if so please can you upload it and then we can investigate further?

I'm having the same issue. It even happens when I just change the color of a background with the fill tool. For example, let's say I create a flipchart with two slides. If I place a background on the first slide, when I turn the page to slide 2, my background from page 1 may be visible on page 2. Sometimes, just clicking the page with the select tool will reset the background to the correct one. Sometimes, clicking the page reset button does the trick. The does not happen with any particular flipchart of mine. It just does it sometimes. I hope you can figure this out to fix it.

Happens to me allllll the time. You can reset the page and "presto"! It's right again.

Is there another way to fix this? Every button I have to search for eats up class time and just makes me look even more goofy and unprepared. I have TRIED to attach an example of the "offending" flipchart. You may have to go forward and backwards in the pages and maybe try using the pen to see what is going on.

Note: This is the first time I've tried to attach something on this site AND it is a work in progress for my precalculus class.

Can any one figure out why my backgrounds are changing? Note my attachment in the previous post. PLEASE help. This is crazy - I just want the background to stay like I made it.????????

This has happened to me just this week also! Created a flipchart to use for class and the very first page of the chart then showed up blank when it came time for class....luckily the rest of the pages were fine. I am using Mac - Snow Leopard and have continued problem with blank thumbnails of the pages in the page browser but usually when I go to the actual page they were fine. This one was totally gone.
