Pictures showing as white box with red X

I have a teacher who created a flipchart on persuasive techniques in advertising. She copied and pasted several pictures of different ads into her flipchart and saved it. The pictures are no longer showing up.... instead of the pictures it displays a white box with a red x across it. Any ideas about what may have caused this or if it is possible to fix without going back out and finding the pictures again???

Looks like the flipchart is looking for links to the pictures and is unable to find them.

The best course of action here would probably be to go back to the pictures and use the camera tool to capture them. That way the images are embedded into the flipcharts and you don't have to worry about the annoying red x.

Unfortunately, I don't think there's a better way to fix this, but if anyone has any better ideas, please chime in!

I am working with a teacher having the same issues. She did use the camera tool to take the pictures froma website. When you go to Page Layout you can see all the pictures as she took them. When you select a page to look at one at a time, all the boxes with red x's appear.

Strange.
