I am currently trying to load our verion of activprimary onto my own PC at home so that I can prepare lessons at home. Each time I load the software it sucessfully installs but when I go to open it it tells me that "Required hardware is not detected". I have previously loaded the software on an old laptop (that has since stopped working)with no problem.
Is there anything that I can do?

Could it be an old version of Activprimary?

Not sure. Maybe it would be a great excuse to update to ActivInspire? ;) With that you basically have two look and feels "studio" and "primary"!
