I'm using AS3.7.19 on XP SP3, but this problem has been reproduced on an earlier version of AS3 as well.

I create a flipchart with some colour or an image. Over that colour or image, I put some text with a contrasting background colour in the textbox, so that it's readable over the colour / image. See the attached flipchart for an example. Everything works fine so far.

I then export to SWF to enable the flipchart to be viewed on a web page. The background colour in the text box is no longer visible, so the text is hard or impossible to read. See the attached SWF file or screenshot.

Has anyone else encountered this?
Can anyone else reproduce this?
Can Promethean fix it?

hello,
it is highly unlikely that resources can be dedicated to fix bugs in Activstudio.

All new feature requests and bug fixes are now dedicated to Activinspire.

It's a real pity if even bugs are not being fixed in AS3.

Is there anyone out there using ActivInspire who could try exporting my flipchart to SWF to confirm whether it works or not? I don't want to waste time looking into upgrading to ActivInspire if it has the same issues.
