Shared Resources - no resources or tree diagram

Hello all.

Just installed ActiveStudio ver2.5 on to my laptop for the first time. I'm keep to get started, but having used ActivStudio ver1 many years ago, I remember a load of resources that were available in the 'Shared Resources' area.

Problem is, there is nothing in the 'Shared Resources'. No data. Not even a tree diagram to open up and explore when the arrow at the top is clicked.

I've gone into the folder on the 'C: Drive', but there isnothing there either!

Where have all these resources gone? :(

That's a pretty old version of the software. It may work better for you in the long run to install ActivInspire instead. It is the most recent version of Promethean's software. You should be able to get the professional version free of charge since you already have Activstudio (serial number).

There's a link at the top of the site that says Download ActivInspire.

Hi, thanks for the replies Lisa.

I did download ActivInspire over the copy of ActivStudio and it stopped ActivStudio working...also when I entered the serial number to get the full version, i just gave me a phone number to ring and didnt seem to accept it.

I agree, I prefer ActivInspire, but it seems that it wont let me get the full version.

So do you still have ActivInspire but not the Professional version?

No, I've taken it off to try and rectify this problem first.

However, I'm now thinking that I will try and download ActivInspire...again...and see what happens.
