need help with ppt format and exam view

Hello all,

I just got my board, but it has been 1 month since our one hour orientation. As a result, I am having some problems.

In orientation, I was told that I can import my examview test banks into activestudio. I have every released USH multiple choice question from the college board's last 4 released exams on exam view and I want to tranfer them. Does anyone know how to do this?

Second, When I opened the software for the first time, I was given a prompt about the layout, or some such. I clicked the ppt option since I am familiar with that. unfortunately, not all the commands match up with what I remember from orientation so I want to switch to the standard format. How do I reset that option?

to import your examview files go to file/import/examview XML file & browse to your files. This will only work with XML files, I believe that newer versions of examview don't have the option to save a XML so this may prevent you being able to do this depending on which version you have.

have you tried changing your profile to find a toolbox you prefer.
Go to edit/profiles
there you'll find a list of pre-set profiles you can swap to in the drop down box at the top of the window. Alternatively you can go to commands & add new tools to your current toolbox in your current layout.

Thnk you for the reply. My exam view is to new for .xml, but I have an older copy that I can install at home.

I still haven't reset the default though. There wasn't an option in that file.
