HELP????
Can anyone tell me how to access the trainings for ActivInspire. I currently have ActivStudio and need to upgrade to ActivInspire but do not feel comfortable until I go through the trainings (free) ones. Every time I go to Professional Development to try to get to them, the system keeps telling me to log in (which I am) and I can never get to the free courses?
Any help would be greatly appreciated. I must be doing something wrong.
Thanks.

Hello there,
I would recommend you to log in when you fisrt access the site ans then go to> professional development> activlearning > online courses - learn more> the first tab should be the one for the free intro courses> just click on the option you require and you will be able to access the courses.
I hope this helps

Hello All,
Would those of you experiencing issues with Firefox please describe the problem in detail so that we may further investigate? I've tested out in Firefox on both the Mac and PC, and have not experienced any problems.
By the way, did you know that Planet has additional free resources to supplement your ActivLearning course?
You can take a free two-hour Migrating to ActivInspire webinar. View this Planet page for schedules: http://www.Prometheanplanet.com/server.php?show=nav.19094.
You can also find some nice flipcharts with ActivInspire how-to's by doing a search for flipcharts using keyword ActivInspire. Visit the resouces page here to search: http://www.Prometheanplanet.com/server.php?show=nav.1128
Lastly, take a look at Planet's free Activtips videos, short how-to videos on a variety of ActivInspire topics: http://www.Prometheanplanet.com/server.php?show=nav.1128.
Hope this helps!

Lori, in my case, as I finished a module, my record would not be updated.

I almost never use IE and I manage the courses daily. I honestly prefer Firefox for many reasons. When issues of storing progress come up, they are almost always on a Mac. But there has not been any single rationale that I have been able to diagnose.
However, it is essential that when you start or return to an assessment that you access through the "Enter" or "Start New Attempt" buttons. The directions do state this important step.
Also, if you do not click 'Exit Assessment' when the assessment is complete and instead use your back button or breadcrumb trail to navigate elsewhere, the data will often not be stored. The browser's cache will not be able to keep up with you.
I would be interested to hear if these steps were religiously followed when you were working through the course. If we are able to gather additional information, hopefully we will be able to get to the root of the problem. It could be related to not having the latest flash player installed, or an older browser version.

I use Firefox and had exactly the same problem as tingens (just couldn't get past the log in prompt). No problems on IE.
