Our school currently uses ActivPrimary 3.7.19 in all 125 classrooms. As we are opening up new branches, we need new computers, which will inevitable come with Windows 7. Does anyone know if there will be an update for this new platform? I've already installed ActivPrimary using windowss 7, although it seems to work well the path to the libraries seems to be affected and no images or backgrounds are found. Has anyone been having similar problems?
Thx a lot in advance.

I'd recommend upgrading to ActivInspire and the latest Driver for Windows 7. We will not be maintaining the older versions on the new OS.
You will also find an enhanced Window 7 mode in the new versions which means you can enjoy some of the multi-pen technology that is emerging on Windows 7 on a suitable Promethean 300Pro board or an old one with the Arena upgrade.

Just to expand on what Mark is saying here, one of the features in Windows 7 is that it now supports 'multi-touch' devices.
An Activboard with the Arena upgrade (two pens) can perform as a multi-touch device in Windows 7.
So in addition to the Dual User mode within ActivInspire, using the two Activpens simultanteously you can control all the multi-touch applications that are now starting to emerge for Windows 7, such as those offered within the Windows 7 Touch Pack, as described here:

I think we are going to see some very interesting developments in this area over the next few years! [clap]

Thank you for replying. I do believe we will inevitably need to use Inspire as we start purchasing machines with Windows 7.
So, no more updates for ActivPrimary, right?
