Hello all. Our new ActivBoard came with a large sticker in the corner. We removed it, but a lot of adhesive was left on the board. What should we use to remove it?

I've heard of something called "Goo Gone." Anyone else heard of this?

Goo Gone is terrific. I checked and was told it should be fine to use that on the board. Try not to get it on the plastic... You might want to put it on a rag first, then apply it to the offensive sticker residue and let it set for a few minutes to allow it to work...

Sorry, but I don't think we have Goo Gone in Canada. Can you think of other products that would be similar?

Goof-Off is another name for a product of that type.
Sometimes I will submerse my entire board in the bathtub or put it in my dishwasher to get off tough stains. Please do not try this at home though, I have the underwater model.

Dave,
That's got me thinking (see attached flipchart).

There you go! ... and that's the power of the ActivBoard!

Perhaps if you were to take it outside for a couple of hours, it would freeze the adhesive, and it would fall off? (Leave the pens and projector inside, of course.)

Peanut butter! Don't think I would want someone smearing that on my Activboard..
You can see the ingredients of Goo Gone here http://householdproducts.nlm.nih.gov/cgi-bin/household/brands?tbl=brands&id=13009002 (I Goo-gled it of course..)

PS I suppose the underwater model would be good for flowcharts..
