I need a blank or transparent game spinner so I can put different things behind it in the different sections (like coins, numbers, letters or words). I have looked around and found spinners with numbers or words already in them (some editable), but I need to be able to use pictures within the spinner too. I have also read that many of the teacher created spinners were made with Flash, which I do not know anything about.

I need at least 4 or 5 sections, if that could be customizable that would be great
I don't care if you push a button or the spinner to spin, or need to push a button to stop spinning, just so long as it is somewhat random

I am pretty good with the board and familiar with programs like photoshop and dreamweaver- so I am willing to try making my own if anyone has instructions.

Thanks!
Nikki

Hi,
Attached is a spinner .
You can drag out images of coins, etc and place them in various segments and then spin.
In the attached spinner, i used coin images from the resource library and just dragged them to the various segments.

Gautam, I just saw this - it's great! Many thanks for creating this, I know lots of teachers will find it v useful.

just a curious question - is this authored in flash? if so, how is it embedded/ file type etc? looks a bit different from the way other flash objects sit on the page.

Cheers,
Rosie

Why does it appear as activstudio rather than activinspire?

You should be able to open it with ActivInspire, no?

Don't double click on it (because it will open with ActivStudi) but go the the file open menu within ActivInspire and navigate to it!
