I would like to use an image as an eraser in a flipchart. Can someone explain how to do this? I am sure this has been discussed but did not see the appropriate thread.

Thanks!

To create an Action Object in Inspire:
Open the Actions Browser
Select the object
Select the Drag and Drop tab
Drag the Action you want across and Drop it on the object
DONE

I don't think, this is the solution saulsmanb wants.

He wants a random image to be the eraser. Not to select the eraser with a image. This is, as far as i know, not possible

You are correct -- I am trying to turn an object into a tool. (In this case, I would like to create a caterpillar that will erase as it is moves over something.) I was hoping that there was a way to do this.

I also realized that I put this in the wrong thread -- I will start this in the correct area.

Thanks.

My apologies – I misread the question.
You could group a blob of ‘magic ink’ with the image you are using and that will reveal what is behind the target, as long as that is on the Top layer - like the ''old" magic revealers.
This won't remove anything as the real Eraser would..
