Activwands: Old Vs. New?

Our district has some classrooms with old boards and some with new boards. We ordered all NEW Activwands. Is there a trick to getting the New wands to work on the old boards? Or do the new wands only work on the new boards?

The new wands only work on the new boards as far as I am aware.

Just like the new pens only work on the new boards.

It might be worth getting back in touch with who you bought them from.

There are two different types, one for the new boards and one for the old (exactly the same as the pens).

The ActivWand works is available for existing ActivBoards (*ActivBoard 64, 78, 87, 95).

The ActivWand 50 is designed specifically to work with our new ActivBoard Range (100, 300, and 300 Pro).
