Changing Default Pen size

I have a teacher who always writes in pen size 3. At the moment he has to fiddle with the pen settings slider until it gets to 3 because it is always defaulting to 4. Is there any way of changing the settings so that the default can be changed to accomodate him. Maybe allowing the 4 pen sizes above the slider to be set to a teachers specific requirements.
