Does anyone know what to do if your pen suddenly stops working? Is there a way to activate it or something?

This could be caused by several different scenarios.... Find the Activmanager on your desktop screen (bottom right for PC's, Top Right for Macs). It will be a small white square next to your internet connection icon, etc. If there is a red X on the white box, then it means that your board is not connected to your computer. Check then for cables to all be connected and also look in the top left corner of your board to see if the flame is glowing and white (which means you have power to the board).
If you can see the white box with the orange Promethean man, then all connections are good. Try using the Activmanager to choose calibrate and see what happens...
Start there!! :)

Another question:
What happens when the cables are all connected-you have the latest driver but you can't get the ActivManager symbol in the tray at all? I can't get to the control panel at all and it won't calibrate from the flame on the board either.

I had the same thing happen to me just last week. I was doing a PD class for teachers in our district and all of a sudden the pen quit working. I could get the board to re-activiate/connect via Bluetooth but it would only hold the connection for a few seconds and then lose it again. We deleted the device, re-set up a new device several times, and could get the connect but it wouldn't hold it. I am working on Snow Leopard mac and have the latest Inspire updates (I think).

for Buckj- Are you using a mac? If so click on the apple then system preferences then Activboard, You should find calibrate here.
Make sure you have the latest version of Inspire. They fixed a lot of MAC issues with the latest version.
