Pictures of Menu bars

In some of the training flipcharts I have seen many of you use the menu to show others where something can be found. How do I take a picture of menu selections? If I use the camera from my tool bar the menu goes away. If I use the desk top tools the menu goes away. If I take a snap shot from the screen recorder the font is not very clear. Seems like this should be easy enough but I cannot figure it out.:eek:

I am not sure how others do this, but I think you could use the Promethean help files that have the pictures on them. Go to help, contents, then search for what you want. Then use the camera tool from the desktop tools to take the picture of what you want.

I have used the print screen function of my computer. You can then paste in into the flipchart as the whole screeen or you can use a program like Paint to crop just the part you want.

Under customise - settings - tools there is an option 'Camera captures main toolbox'. Have you tried checking this?

Thank you all so much for your responses. I ahve tried to use the camera tool but it will nto work for a snap shot of the file and save as. But I am sure the other options will work just fine. I am working on putting together a flipchart that will help my very new teachers with building and saving their first flipchart. Anyone interested in sharing their ideas I am open to suggestions. We are at the beining. Open, create someting simple and save the file. Again thanks for your replies.[clap]

If you have Microsoft Office "One Note" on the computer there is a vary good tool to take screen shots. I love this camera tool.
My settings are: windows button+s darken the screen and you select the area. When you lift the mouse button the picture is taken. Then the picture can be paste in every program you want with ctrl+v.
