I am having problems with the 'Can Block' function. I have a long string of objects grouped together. They run off the page which is what I want. When I have them move across the page I want them to stop at a certain point. So, I drew a line off the page and in the property browser I set the 'Can Block' to 'True'. The problem is that when the objects hit the line, they start to ungroup and become a stack of objects rather than staying in a group. What am I doing wrong?

Attached is a flipchart with a group of image objects that you can drag from right to left (and back again).
Is this the effect you are wanting to achieve?

Is this working right? This is made with the lastest version 1.3..... I don't know how this "can block" works or did work in the last version with annotations and shapes . It's late and I sat in a workshop all day............
In this flipchart, my annotations and shapes are blocked by the black lines when I use the "select tool" to move them. If I select the annotation and use the marquee handle and move them they cross the line (in presentation mode).
Just wondering if this is the correct way annotations and shapes work with "can block" when in presentation mode.
Thanks

are you using the freely move object x on the marquee handle?
If so then this is working correctly. This overrides the blocking restriction. The way to keep them blocked is just to pick them up with the select tool & move them around like this

Thank you Louise. I was using the x on the marquee handle. I guess I didn't realize that you could freely move them (objects in a blocked area) with the marquee handle. I was thinking that I would need to be in presentation mode.
