Annotations on screen recorder?

I was making a screen recording of a student teaching a powerpoint to the class. Is it possible with Inspire
open to annotate over that powerpoint and have it show up when you play back the recording? If so, how do you do it? Thanks.

It is possible to record anything with the screen recorder. You will need to click on the Desktop Tools icon and then click the screen recorder from there. You can record web page interaction, other software programs and more.

If you look in ActivInspire Settings under the section 'Recordings', you will see the setting: 'Capture layered windows' Try ticking that, and then try the Screen Recorder again. This may allow you to record the Inspire desktop annotations.

Eventually got the screen recorder working on part-screen. It doesn't seem happy on full screen but I fooled it by making dragging the part-screen to cover the whole screen. Is this my computer or a bug in Inspire?
An answer would be very useful.
