Ok...need some help here. One of my teachers created a flipchart about 10 pages long. She saved it. When she opened it up an hour later....the title is still there but all of the resources she created are gone! Then entire chart is blank...???
We are running ActivInspire 1.214 on Mac running 10.5.4.
Any thoughts? Is this a "known" issue??

We have been running into the same issue on our PCs. When you open a previously saved flipchart the page it opens to is blank. If you look at the browser the page appears, but you cannot open it or recover it. This is happening a lot in Version 1.2.

We have had this issue on both the Macs and PCs that we are using. For us what happens is we have created a flipchart and then when we go to open it, we still have the file but it is completely empty! The browser shows one page only and it's blank. I have attached my recent file that this just happened to.
Any ideas or suggestions would be greatly appreciated!

We are having a similar issue. Our pages appear correctly in the full screen view, but will not appear in the page browser after changes have been made to them (added sounds and saved). Please advise.
p.s. Using MacBook (Leopard) Inspire version 1.2 (latest version)

Having the same issues as other postings. It would be greatly appreciated if feedback could be offered. It is frustrating to have a pages in the morning but they disappear for my afternoon classes and no time to fix. As far as I know I am running the latest version of Inspire.
Thanks for any input.

We are having the same issues running MAC 10.5.8 and the latest version of Inspire with the latest patch. Teachers are creating in Inspire and all but one page disappears. I have been encouraging them to move to Inspire. What can I share with the developers to help? Is there any types of error report files? How do I find them to send to you? Please e-mail me if you can.

Hi
Any info would be great - please post up the flipcharts that show the problem, they may help.
Any idea if you are doing something just before saving that is the same each time? Are you saving when closing the app, closing the flipchart, just saving from menu as you go along? Using the keyboard shortcut to save??

Here are two flipcharts both I downloaded from Promethean Planet. The letters I downloaded with studio and saved it in Inspire and made changes to it, and the pages I made changes to don't show up in the browser but when I click on them they are there. The calendar I downloaded when I had Studio and saved in Inspire when I switched over this year. The calendar pages twice are gone when I need them. They show up in the browser and when I click on it it's gone. I had to re do Oct and now the November page is missing. I'm using an different one for November. Any help would be appreciated.

I have been duplicating pages and that is sometimes when the problem occurs but not always. But I have not lost as many pages as I have now that I am not using the duplicate feature.

Our issue is having the background disappear when an action is applied, or it turns black. All of the images remain showing, however. . 1.3 PCs.

I have pages disappearing too. I have a fairly simple flipchart that worked on morning and then did not the next morning. I saved as usual, and can't think of anything I did differently. The "missing" pages show up in the page browser, but I can't seem to do anything with them.
As a bonus error, I have a page that looks nearly blank in the browser, but it works fine in the flip chart. Nice.
Any thoughts or insight would be greatly appreciated.
I have attached the flipchart.
I am using a Macbook running 10.5.8 and Inspire 1.3.15ect.

Look what it did for me. The first page was always the first page (on the flipchart and the browser). I don't think I saw anything on the second page, but as you see the first page in the second page spot in the browser. No, I didn't duplicate the first page. The third page played hide and seek. Sometimes it was on the flipchart and sometimes it was in the browser. I was viewing it on an XP with Windows 7 and the latest version of ActivInspire.

I just saw this for the first time during training. Happened to one of my teachers on a PC using 1.1 We could see her content in the thumbnail but page was presenting as blank. We were unable to recover the content.

this is something we are investigating.
it is really useful for us to find out the last thing you were doing on the flipchart before you saved & closed & which version you were working on. Also, whether it was a brand new flipchart in that version or whether it was an older one you were editing.
Thanks for all your help.

My flipchart was a combination of newly created ( first page with names that hide/show) and older pages -Jobs list with drag a copy numbers and schedule (from PDF added to background).
The only thing I can think of is the laptop sometimes goes to sleep with Inspire running. Could that cause a problem?
