I finally got my ActivArena!! I have installed and upgraded and everything is working wonderfully. The kids are extremely excited. My question is: What do I do now?!?! I've downloaded the resource packs & lessons on Planet for dual users. I also watched several of Nigel Pierce's videos on YouTube. I want to start creating my own flipcharts, but I can't figure out how to assign objects to one pen or the other. Nigel had some really neat flipcharts for competitions, but I couldn't find them on Planet. Any ideas or flipcharts out there to help get me started?
Thanks!
Sarah

Actually, you don't have to assign objects to one pen or the other. Basically, you just go to the menu and turn on dual user. At that point you will have two palettes, your normally palette (for your first pen) plus a smaller additional tool palette that the secondary user can access (with the other pen). So two people can write at the same time or use the selector to move objects around at the same time. Not the same object though at the same time.

Thanks, Lisa. Do you have any idea how Nigel made the "Pong" game or the "Maths" game where one student was a red X and the other was a O?

No, but you could use one of the pre-made tic tac toe flipcharts and use that for x's and o's?

:(
I want to make the objects appear depending on which pen is touching the board

I just installed Activarena also and I love it. Would someone be able to post the link where I can watch Nigel's Activarena videos?

Hi,
The videos are here...
http://www.youtube.com/user/NigelRPearce
Much of the functionality shown in the videos is now available within ActivInspire.
However, some of it was written as 'demonstrator product' using the Promethean ActivSDK in order to show what is possible on our dual pen Activboards (such as 'Pong' and 'Maths' examples). Please refer to the video descriptions for more information.
Note: Our ActivSDK is available for any software developer who wishes to produce products that make use of our two pens on ActivArena.
