I am new to Promethean. I want to know how to insert one of my word files into activstudio so I can use it in a flip chart. Can someone help please?

Which software are you using? ActivInspire, ActivStudio or ActivPrimary?

assuming you are on activstudio v3.
Right click on the page & choose insert
then choose microsoft office file & browse for the file you want
you can then choose how you want to insert it & then you will end up with a link on the page that will open up your doc file.
If you are giving our your flp to different people you're best off embedding the doc file so it is accessible to everyone.

However, if you want it on the flipchart (not to re-open as a word document) there are several options.

If you want your flipchart page to look EXACTLY like the word document (no changes and no longer editable), you could print the word doc as a pdf and then just import the pdf. It's really quick. (This is assuming your have 1.2 of ActivInspire.)
