Can not Open PDF on Mac

I created a flipchart using Studio PC and embedded a PDF (Actions/Open Embedded Document or File). I am not able to open the PDF in Studio for MAC. Is this a problem with a setting? The PDF does open outside of Studio.

Hi:

I use PDF almost everyday in Active Studio v2.x. I do not import them to the flipchart. Rather, I use the desktop flipchart which has almost all the features of the flipchart.

In order to do this, go to ACTIVstudio to Preferences. A dialogue box opens, and then click on linked file hosting.

Then UNCHECK the pdf Documents box.

Now when you drag your pdf to the tools box in AS, the pdf file will open from acroboat (or preview depending on which one it is set to). Just use the tools on the pdf as normal.
